Who We Are
Mary Mayhan, Owner
Mary has worked with children for over 30 years. Academically, she has a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development, a Master of Arts degree in Human Development and Educational Psychology, and a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. Mary has worked in a variety of health care and educational settings. She has provided direct and consultative services to school systems, early intervention, as well as working with children and their families in their home environment.
Mary is certified in the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test, The Interactive Metronome, Certified Kinesiotex Practitioner, and an authorized provider of The Listening Program. She has extensive continuing education in sensory processing disorder, Autism, motor skills and feeding therapy. She has chosen to focus on helping children and their families function more independently.
Michelle is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who has worked for Pediatric Therapy Link since November 2010. She enjoys working with children in the clinic environment and in the school environment. She has received additional training for visual perceptual deficits and the Mary Benbow Handwriting treatment program. Her ability to understand sensory processing disorder allows her to provide treatment activities to support each child’s needs.
Jordan is a graduate level occupational therapist who has recently joined our team. She previously trained in our facility and we are delighted she has returned. Her love for children and current knowledge of pediatrics enables her to provide quality service to all the children and families she serves.
Alison "Ali" joined our staff in May of 2014. She received her Master of Occupational Therapy from West Virginia University - School of Medicine. Her experience includes working with both children and adults. Ali's interest and passion for meeting the sensory processing needs of children are reflected in her skills and continuing education training in SPD, primitive reflexes and Therapeutic Listening. She currently works part time with this clinic.
Jacob joined our staff in February of 2017 as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. He is a graduate of Wallace State. He has experience with children in both the clinic and school settings. His clinical skills and ability to work with children has brought many positive changes to the clients he treats.
